What is Hydrodipping?
Hydrodipping goes by many names. Hydro graphics, liquid printing, water transfer printing, cubic printing, and immersion printing are all different names for the same basic process. There are variations to the methods and techniques used in order to ensure the best possible results for the individual item and desired finished look.

Step 1
Prep
Any kind of custom work requires careful prep work. We clean and prepare the object's surface to improve the look and quality of the finished product.
Step 2
Prime
Once the surface has been prepped, we prime the item to improve the durability and adhesive qualities of the paint and dip.
Step 3
Paint
Next, paint is applied to the object. This acts as a base coat for the dip and can add color or complexity to a design.
Step 4
Dip
Hydrographics film is floated in a tank of water. Using a specialized activator, the film becomes a liquid that floats on top of the water. The object is carefully dipped so the film adheres evenly.
Step 5
Finish
The now dipped item is cleaned and clear coated to the specified finish, increasing durability and the overall look of the finished product.
